On Friday 9th March our school took part in Sustrans ‘Feet First Families’ initiative where we became a ‘car free zone’ for the entire day.  It was a beautiful, yet cold, frosty morning and we are delighted with the huge effort everyone went to.  We succeeded in having a ‘car free car park’ the entire day.  Some of the classes took their learning outside and took part in some fun lessons in the wide space the car park offered.

Thanks to everyone who took part and made this day possible. Hopefully we can ‘park and stride’ more often, reducing the traffic congestion in the car park!
