Welcome to Year 3!
REMINDERS:
Please provide your child with a homework folder.
Please send in plimsolls for PE and make sure they are clearly labelled.
Children go home at 3pm Monday and Tuesday and 2pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Term 1:
- Our Theme for term one is ‘Bright Sparks.’ We will be finding out and learning about Artists, Space and Planets, Light, School and Inventors.
- Our writing genre we are learning about is ‘Instructional Writing’.
Term 2:
- Our Theme for term two is ‘Jungle Journey.’ We will be finding out and learning about what lives in the jungle, where the jungles are in the world and about products we get from the jungle.
- Our writing genre we are learning about is ‘Report Writing’.
- We are looking forward to making our Sacrament of Penance
Term 3:
- Our Theme for term three is ‘On the High Seas.’ We will be finding out and learning about the seas and oceans of the world, different types of boats and looking at pirates.
- Our Writing genre is ‘Narrative Writing’
