We have been awarded a prestigious Eco-Schools Green Flag for the 3rd time by the environmental charity Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful.
The internationally recognised Green Flag is this highest award given to Eco-Schools and symbolises excellence in the field of environmental activity.
The children have been growing their own fruit and vegetables in our school garden and bottle greenhouse. They even provided pears for the school’s lunchtime dessert. This year we are also participating in the Sustrans Active Travel programme encouraging all children to walk or cycle to school.
