We have been exploring tangrams as part of Shape and Space in Numeracy. A tangram is a Chinese puzzle that consists of 7 2d shapes. These can be rearranged and made into different pictures. We experimented and made planes, cats, rockets, candles and birds. Have a look at our great work!
