Primary 3C have been exploring Area in Numeracy this week. The children took part in a carousel of activities; designing robots using 2D shapes and calculating the area, using books to find the area of our carpet area, using cubes to calculate the area of different rectangles and squares and finally, using Chewits sweets to measure the area of different 2D shapes (yum!).
