Primary 2 children had lots of fun on Tuesday when we joined our friends from Antrim Primary School at the Castle Gardens. As part of our topic work we have been looking at the work of Andy Goldsworthy, an artist whose work focuses on using natural materials. We worked alongside our buddies to collect lots of different items in the woodland, such as twigs, leaves , berries and pine cones. We then worked together in small groups to create our very own masterpieces in the style of Andy Goldsworthy. After our hard work, we sat outside the cafe and enjoyed our snack with our friends, before walking back to school. A great morning was had by all!
