Primary 6 pupils Nadia, Caela Rose, and Ahiroop, winners of the Primary 6 Trainer Art Competition, attended a special workshop at St. Benedict’s College alongside pupils from other schools. The workshop was led by internationally acclaimed Sri Lankan artist, Anushiya Sundaralingam. During the session, the pupils explored textile art by creating felted pictures inspired by national flowers. They carefully layered colourful wool fibres onto fabric and used a felting technique to bring their designs to life. The children thoroughly enjoyed this creative, hands-on experience and produced impressive pieces that highlighted their imagination and effort. Many thanks to Anushiya Sundaralingam and Ms. McElhone for providing such a wonderful opportunity.
