On Tuesday 24th June we received our official accreditation for the Being Well Doing Well initiative in St. Dominic’s Grammar School, Belfast where our whole school approach to emotional health and wellbeing was recognised and celebrated in a presentation to Mr Matthews & Mrs Duffy. This initiative focuses on maximising learning by promoting mental health and well being for both staff and pupils across our school. Huge thank you to our Link Officers Stuart Kennedy, Nicola Brennan & Aideen Leonard in guiding Mrs Duffy, our Wellbeing Co-ordinator on our journey as a Cohort 1 Being Well Doing Well school. We look forward to many developments in this important area in the future, led by Mrs Duffy, for the benefit of our pupils, staff and whole school community, as we strive for a healthy, happy learning environment for all.
