At our term 3 AR assembly, we celebrated reading a whopping 99,562,438 words this year in KS2! We celebrated our Top 5 highest word counts for girls and boys in Term 3. We congratulated children with a high average percentage correct comprehension score in their quizzes with high engaged reading times. Teachers selected a Star Reader who demonstrated noteworthy effort with their reading in Term 3. And finally Mrs Cunningham drew a lucky winner from each class’ 100% AR quiz box to choose a brand new book from Vera, our Reading Book vending machine. Great reading everyone! Keep it up over the Summer. How many books will you read in July and August?
