On Friday P5A performed their May is the Month of Mary Assembly for both the KS1 and KS2 children. The children led the assembly so beautifully. They prayed the Hail Mary in Irish, which reminded us of how important Mary is in our faith and it was very special for them to pray to her in Irish. They also told us all about the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. These are five happy and important moments from the life of Jesus and Mary. The children explained each one clearly and helped everyone think about how we can try to bring joy, love and kindness to others, just like Mary did. Grace has been teaching our class to bless ourselves in Malayalam and Grace and Emmanuel also prayed the Hail Mary in Malayalam. The children were reminded that people all over the world pray to Mary in their own language. The boys and girls in P5A put a lot of time and effort into making this assembly fantastic, well done!
