There was great excitement around school on Friday 6th for World Book Day. Our P5-7 pupils signed up to a book reading based on the blurb of the book only, and a poster and video expertly prepared by Mr McLaughlin & P6B, to reveal some hidden clues. The Book & its Mystery reader were revealed on the day! Thanks to our Mystery Readers, our pupils were treated to readings from The Great Chocoplot, The Wall Between Us, Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone, When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, How to Write Really Badly, Danny the Champion of the World, Fantastic Mr Fox & Revolting Rhymes (Red Riding Hood). “There is more pleasure in books than all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island.” Walt Disney
