Normal Lives, Called to Holiness

This week, the whole school community joined together to celebrate Catholic Schools Week, reflecting on the theme “Normal Lives, Called to Holiness.” Pupils explored how everyday kindness, friendship and service help us live out our faith in simple but meaningful ways. All classes took part in special activities including prayer and reflection, where children thought about the people who help them grow in faith and love. Pupils created friendship chains and artwork showing how we can bring God’s love to others through small acts of kindness. Older classes reflected on the idea of prayer and modern day Saints like Carlo Acutis. We celebrated Grandparents’ Day, giving thanks for the faith, wisdom and love that grandparents share. Throughout the week, our school lived the message that holiness is found in everyday moments—being a good friend, helping others, showing respect, and taking time to pray. We are proud of how our pupils embraced this theme and showed that ordinary actions can reflect extraordinary love.
