P.1 have been getting their fingers ready for writing. Each day they take part in fine motor activities and action songs. The boys and girls have been learning all the different names for each finger and how important it is to use Tommy thumb, Peter pointer and Toby tall. This week they made Bird feeders. They had to thread cheerios onto pipe cleaners, tie the ends and then hang them out on the trees for the birds. They had lots of fun completing this activity and the birds are going to be very happy over the coming weeks! Well done P.1A
