On Thursday 16th October, Primary 3 enjoyed their first Shared Education meet-up of the year with our friends from Antrim Primary School. We gathered at the maze in the Castle Grounds, where we had time to reconnect and catch up. We then went on a walking tour of the Castle Grounds, led by knowledgeable park rangers. They shared fascinating facts about the trees, leaves, and acorns found throughout the area. One of the highlights was learning how to make a whistle using just an acorn cap! To finish off our day, we teamed up with our Antrim Primary friends to create beautiful nature-inspired artwork using the leaves and acorns we had collected. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, collaborate, and have fun outdoors. We’re already looking forward to our next Shared Education trip!
