This week, Primary 3 delighted our school community with a thoughtful and inspiring assembly based on the picture book Ish by Peter H. Reynolds. Through storytelling, artwork and song, Primary 3 explored the important messages of trying your best and never giving up, and perhaps most importantly, understanding that things don’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. Inspired by the story, the children created their own imaginative “ish” paintings, celebrating creativity, imagination and effort rather than perfection. Each piece was a reminder that learning is a journey and that mistakes help us grow. To conclude the assembly, Primary 3 sang Try Everything, encouraging everyone to have a go, and always give their best effort. Their performance was a joyful and uplifting reminder of the power of perseverance and positive thinking. Well done, Primary 3, for sharing such an encouraging message with our school community!
