Primary 5 had a fantastic day visiting the Titanic Museum in Belfast. The children loved exploring and learning how the Titanic was built in Belfast by Harland and Wolff. They enjoyed discovering all the different stages of the museum, especially the ride that showed how the workers built the Titanic and what their working conditions were like. Everyone was fascinated by the real memorabilia from the ship on display. The glass floor, which showed what the wreckage of the Titanic looks like, was a big highlight, along with the moving wall that displayed the faces of the passengers and revealed whether they survived or sadly died. The workshop on solving the case was very informative and gave us a real insight into the lives of people on board. We had the best day, and a special thank you goes to our tour guide Ella, who gave up her time to share fantastic information and super facts about the Titanic. Many thanks also to Brendan and Damien, our wonderful volunteers, who helped throughout the day. A great day was had by all!
