Primary 6 pupils took part in an exciting active learning challenge to create a timeline of the key events of the Victorian Industrial Revolution. Working in teams, the children were given a selection of facts and had to decide the most effective way to sort, organise, and sequence the information. A little friendly competition added to the excitement, with prizes for the team that worked best together and for the fastest group to complete their timeline correctly. The room was full of energy, discussion, and problem‑solving. Pupils showed excellent collaboration, with natural team leaders emerging and everyone playing an active part. It was a fantastic example of hands‑on, engaging learning where history, teamwork, and thinking skills all came alive.
