Today P7 had a very meaningful Shared Education visit focused on taking notice and exploring what influences our thoughts and feelings. Through discussion and reflection, we considered how friends, family, the media and wider society can shape the way we think, feel and behave. A key part of our session was reflecting on our upcoming transition from P7 to Year 8 in secondary school. We shared any worries or concerns we might have, talked about who the people are that can support us during this change, and most importantly, discussed what we are looking forward to as we begin this new chapter. It was reassuring to hear that many of our thoughts and feelings were shared by others. We were especially surprised to discover just how much we had in common with our friends from Antrim Primary School. The visit helped us realise that although change can feel daunting, we are not alone and there is lots to be excited about!
