Primary 7 experienced a travelling museum linked to their Viking Theme. They had an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Viking world and engage in lots of fun workshops. “We had a fun filled day during the Viking workshop. We got the opportunity to carousel around 9 different stations. We took part in Viking dress up, flint stone sparks, oat grinding, weaving, Viking games, weapon skills, decoding runes, chain mail races, Viking artefacts, sword fighting and spear making. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Vikings from the facilitators. Our favourite stations were spear making and sword fighting.” Martha McAteer and Janie Arbuckle P7C
