P2B had so much fun making pancakes on Pancake Tuesday. Firstly, we worked together to name all of the ingredients that we needed. We talked about flour, sugar, milk and butter and matched the ingredients to the correct words. Then it was time to mix the ingredients carefully, taking turns and following each step. We then cooked the pancakes on the griddle and watched excitedly as they bubbled and turned golden brown! The best part was choosing our toppings. There were so many delicious options to choose from. After enjoying our tasty treat, we got busy with our writing activities. We wrote out our own set of instructions explaining how to make pancakes, making sure to put them in the correct order. To finish our learning, we created a tally chart and bar graph to find out everyone’s favourite topping. We are so proud of how well everyone worked together, followed instructions and completed their fantastic writing and numeracy. Well done P2B!
