Primary 3 Celebrate the Sacrament of Penance

Our Primary 3 children marked a very special moment in their faith journey this week as they celebrated the Sacrament of First Penance in St Comgall’s Church. This important occasion gave the pupils the opportunity to reflect, say sorry, and experience God’s love and forgiveness in a meaningful and memorable way.

To help everyone understand the message of the day, the children performed a wonderful drama of The Lost Sheep. Their acting brought the story to life, showing beautifully how God cares for each and every person, and how he welcomes us back with open arms when we lose our way.

The children also sang hymns with enthusiasm and reverence, and they confidently recited the prayers they had been learning in class. When it came time to make their individual confession to the priest, each child behaved with great maturity and respect. It was clear that they understood the importance of this special sacrament.

We are incredibly proud of our Primary 3 pupils. They conducted themselves wonderfully throughout the celebration and truly did themselves, their families, and our school community proud.
