Primary 5 had an enjoyable beginning to their Shared Education journey with their buddies from Antrim Primary School. Our first lesson focused on the wellbeing theme of Connect, providing the perfect opportunity for the children to get to know one another through a range of fun and engaging activities. As we continued to explore the Five Steps to Wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give, the children developed new friendships and built positive relationships with their buddies. As part of our Take Notice lesson, we enjoyed a visit to the beautiful Castle Grounds, where the children spent time exploring their surroundings and appreciating the world around them. They participated enthusiastically in a variety of wellbeing activities and demonstrated excellent teamwork throughout. Everyone had a fantastic time and we are looking forward to meeting up again soon!
