This week P6 have been investigating angles all around. They estimated and named angles on their tables. They found angles between two lines. They classified and named angles. They know an acute angle is the smallest type of angle. They learned right angles have 90 degrees, obtuse angles measure between 91 degrees and 179 degrees, 180 degrees is a straight line, a reflex angle is the largest ranging from 181 degrees up to 359 degrees. Finally, a full rotation is 360 degrees. They explored missing angles in a triangle and quadrilateral, and calculated degrees on a clock face.
