Our Primary 7 pupils celebrated a truly special Sacrament of Confirmation in St Joseph’s Church, Antrim, led by Bishop Alan McGuckian. It was a beautiful and faith‑filled occasion for our school, parish, and families. Bishop Alan delivered a wonderful homily, sharing stories of the saints who should inspire us in our daily lives. His message encouraged the children to look to the saints as guides and companions on their own faith journey. Each child renewed their baptismal promises with confidence and reverence and were then anointed with the sacred Chrism oil, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. It was a proud moment for all gathered. Throughout the ceremony, the children sang, prayed, and participated with outstanding reverence, demonstrating the maturity and respect expected of them on this important milestone. We are incredibly proud of our Primary 7 pupils and grateful to Bishop Alan, Cn. Emerson, Fr. Dawid, Fr. Jain, school staff, families, and the parish community for making the celebration so memorable.
