Another wonderful AR Assembly today, celebrating all that we have achieved in Term 2. We worked together to reach a fantastic 67,346,034 words over the term. Girls won the battle of the genders reading 43,452,014 of those words, while P7 were the highest reading year group with 27,499,748 words. Congratulations to our top 5 achievers in terms of word counts for boys and for girls. We also celebrated those children who read with 95%+ accuracy with a high engaged reading time. A special well done also to those children who received the Star Reader award from their teacher, recognising their consistent efforts and achievements in reading across the term, celebrating their ongoing dedication and improvements. We also drew tickets from the AR quiz 100% box and from our Maths Freckle boxes to reward lucky winners from each class in Reading & Maths. We love celebrating our achievements in St. Comgall’s!
