St Comgall’s Pupils Score Big in Design Competition

Excitement was in the air at St Comgall’s as three talented pupils saw their creative dreams stitched into reality! The school recently hosted a design competition, inviting children to put their imaginations to the test and come up with fresh new football kits for the entire school. One for Gaelic Boys, One for Gaelic Girls and One for Soccer! From Paper to Pitch, the winning Designs came alive! So after weeks of sketching, colouring and brainstorming, the winning designs were chosen – and they truly impressed! The best part? The pupils’ unique creations didn’t just stay on paper. They were transformed into real football kits for the school teams to wear in upcoming matches! Each winning pupil received their very own shirt, produced from their own design, to keep forever. What a fantastic souvenir, and a reminder of their achievement! Wearing their creations, the pupils will definitely stand out on the pitch – talk about making your mark! But the surprises didn’t end there. To celebrate their double victory, we purchased three Gaelic Mystery Kits – brand-new, exclusive football shirts with a twist of surprise – and Mr Henry who owns GMK presented them to our winners. Now, not only do they have their own special designs, but also a mystery kit to add to their collection. Double win! Congratulations to our design Champions! The whole school is buzzing with pride. Well done to our creative champions – your designs are sure to inspire everyone for years to come. Who knows, maybe one day your kit will be famous across Ireland! Keep designing, dreaming, and playing, St Comgall’s stars! • Leon Beekalar (Soccer Kit Designer) • Tom Thallon (Boys Gaelic Kit Designer) • Janie Arbuckle (Girls Gaelic Kit)
