This week in Numeracy, Primary 3A focused on learning the number bonds of 10 and explored all the different ways to make 10. The children took part in carousel activities which included; using Numicon to design ‘number bond aliens’, creating number fact families, fishing for number bonds in the ball pit, making ‘Perfect Playdoh Pizzas’ with toppings always totalling 10 and getting competitive playing Hit the Button on the computer!

We also worked very hard to create beautiful rainbow artwork, showcasing our super number bond knowledge – with each bond becoming a colour of the rainbow.

The children worked enthusiastically throughout the week and are becoming much more confident in recalling their number bonds to 10 quickly and accurately. Well done, Primary 3! 🌟
