P4A were very busy inside and outside the classroom this week as we were learning about 3D shapes and their properties. The children took part in a shape hunt around our school and could identify 3D shapes in lots of different places. We were busy inside the classroom building nets of 3D shapes and identifying the faces, edges and vertices of each shape. The children were also able to see the 2D shapes needed to make 3D shapes. Lots and lots of learning from one small shape.
