Daniel Noade in Primary 3A assisted his grandmother as she suffered a stroke. He stepped up to the mark when his grandmother Marian McIlmunn became unwell during a family meal. Since then Daniel has taken part in the Belfast Marathon Fun Run raising around £400 for Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke and is keen to make other young people aware of the symptoms of stroke.
