4th Feb 2016

As part of ‘Catholic Schools Week’ we celebrated ‘Grandparent’s Day’ on Wednesday 3rd February. It began with a packed Church at our school mass with all our children, from P1 to P7 and lots of parents and grandparents. The beautiful singing, accompanied by the organ and guitar and our  fluent readers were positively remarked on by our parents and grandparents.  They were then invited back to school for tea/coffee and buns.

The grandparents then had the opportunity to visit their grandchildren’s classrooms (some having more than one to visit)! The children enjoyed and proudly showed their books, art work, displays, themes etc.

A special day thoroughly enjoyed by our children and grandparents!
